Watch Eminem’s Action-Packed ‘Houdini’ Blooper Reel

It seems Eminem had a blast playing his own stunt double while filming his ‘Houdini’ music video.

After dropping his latest visual, a revamped version of his 2002 ‘Without Me’ video, the 51-year-old rapper shared a blooper reel on Instagram yesterday. In the clip, Eminem, dressed as his superhero alter ego, humorously warns viewers, “Don’t try this at home,” before attempting various stunts.

From comically jumping off a bed to mock-struggling with his cape, Eminem’s playful antics are on full display. In one scene, he humorously struggles to scale a wall with a rope, joking about the difficulty of the task. He also showcases his attempt at superhero tuck-and-roll moves, quipping, “You like the roll? I thought I killed it.”

The behind-the-scenes footage wraps up with Eminem filming a slow-motion punching scene in character as Slim Shady, with a humorous interruption when his shoe comes off between takes.

Eminem’s official ‘Houdini’ video, featuring appearances from Pete Davidson, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Shane Gillis, marks a return of his Slim Shady persona, possibly for the last time. The rapper is gearing up to release his next studio album this summer titled “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” hinting that this LP will retire the twisted rap persona for good.

Leading up to the album’s release, Eminem has dropped hints, including a fake obituary declaring Slim Shady dead and a FaceTime call with magician David Blaine joking about making his career disappear. He also performed his new single at the ’Live From Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central’ event in his hometown in June which he executive-produced, following performances by Diana Ross, Big Sean, and others.
