Watch Ryan Gosling’s Tearful Performance of Taylor Swift’s Song

During the airing of the 2024 Super Bowl, viewers were treated to a glimpse of the upcoming action-comedy film, ‘The Fall Guy’, where Hollywood stuntman Colt Seavers, portrayed by Ryan Gosling, delivers a poignant rendition of Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well,’ the 10-minute version from her album ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’.

In the trailer, as Seavers emotionally sings along to the heartfelt track, his co-star Emily Blunt’s character, Jody Moreno, catches the tearful moment and questions him about his choice of music. Blunt’s character humorously asks, “Have you been crying to Taylor Swift?”

The debut of the trailer coincided with Swift’s presence at the Super Bowl inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where she cheered on her boyfriend Travis Kelce as his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, faced off against the San Francisco 49ers.

‘The Fall Guy’ draws inspiration from the 1980s TV series of the same name and is helmed by renowned stuntman-turned-director David Leitch. In preparation for his role as Colt, Gosling sought guidance from Lee Majors, the original actor who portrayed the character in the TV series.

Reflecting on his interaction with Majors, Gosling shared, “He’s so funny and he’s very lovely and gracious.” Their exchange left a lasting impression, with Gosling noting that they remain in contact as “text buddies.” The film also features Winston Duke and Stephanie Hsu from ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once.’

Described by Universal Pictures as a “love letter to action movies and the hard-working and under-appreciated crew of people who make them,” ‘The Fall Guy’ promises to be a thrilling and heartfelt tribute to the genre.
