Prepare for a wild ride as the official trailer for ‘Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2’ has been unleashed, promising another intense gore fest. This upcoming sequel follows the 2023 slasher film that took A.A. Milne's beloved children's characters and transformed them into bloodthirsty killers, offering a dark and twisted take on the classic tales.
Directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and produced by Scott Jeffrey, the sequel features the familiar characters – Winnie The Pooh, Piglet, Owl and Tigger – whose lives are plunged into danger when Christopher Robin unveils their existence. This continuation of savagery and mayhem guarantees a gory, bloody slasher, explicitly not suitable for children.

The vengeful Pooh takes centre stage, showcasing a menacing array of deadly weapons, from bear traps to chainsaws and knives, in his chilling killing spree.
The trailer hints at a psychological examination of Christopher Robin, delving into childhood trauma before the brutality unfolds, unravelling the storyline. ‘Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2’ boasts a star-studded cast including Simon Callow, Alec Newman, Scott Chambers, Eddy Mackenzie, Marcus Massey and Ryan Oliva.

Adding to the film's allure, the creature and gore design comes from Shaune Harrison, known for his work on both the ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Game Of Thrones’ franchises. Notably, the frightening prosthetics for Pooh reportedly incurred a cost exceeding $20,000 (£15,900).
Mottram's review dissected the movie, noting its inclusion of "every horror sub-genre imaginable." From young women trapped in a remote woodland setting to Deliverance-style locals and gruesome Texas Chainsaw Massacre-esque murders, the film apparently ventures into a myriad of horror elements, leaving no stone unturned in its pursuit of shocking and terrifying the audience.
