De Niro’s journey into fatherhood began with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, with whom he shares two children. Their daughter, Drena De Niro, was born on 3rd September 1971. De Niro later adopted Drena upon his marriage to Abbott, a gesture that solidified their familial bond. 

The couple welcomed their son, Raphael Eugene De Niro, who has since forged his path outside of the entertainment industry, establishing himself as a successful figure in real estate.

In addition to his children with Abbott, De Niro is also a proud father to twin sons, Julian and Aaron 

Kendrick, born on 20th October 1995, whom he shares with his former girlfriend, Toukie Smith. While Julian has embraced his parents’ acting legacy and appeared in notable productions like ‘In Dubious Battle’, Aaron has maintained a low profile, opting for privacy away from the public eye.

Further enriching his family dynamic, De Niro welcomed son Elliot, born in 1998 and daughter Helen Grace, born in 2011, with his ex-wife, Grace Hightower.
