Why Kate Middleton Missed Taylor Swift’s London Show

During Taylor Swift’s recent London shows, Prince William joined with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, showcasing his dance moves and even posing for a photo with Swift. However, noticeably absent was Kate Middleton, who is currently facing a challenging time. Former Royal Correspondent Charles Rae shed light on Middleton’s absence, explaining that it was a sensible decision given her ongoing recovery process.

Prince William’s attendance marked their second outing since the Trooping the Colour event, where Middleton also made her first public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer. According to Rae, Middleton’s decision not to attend the concert was understandable and he praised her appearance at Trooping the Colour, noting how well she looked.

A photo of the royal family with Swift was shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account, while Swift also posted a picture featuring her boyfriend Travis Kelce. Looking ahead, Swift will perform more shows at Wembley Stadium in August, but it’s unlikely Middleton will attend, according to sources.

Entertainment Tonight reported that Middleton isn’t expected to attend future Taylor Swift concerts, given her reduced public appearances since Trooping the Colour. Middleton herself has expressed her intention to join a few public engagements over the summer while acknowledging her ongoing recovery.
