Will Smith and Melanie Liburd Seal the Scene With a Kiss in ‘Bad Boys 4’
Will Smith, the iconic Oscar winner, was caught in a passionate on-screen moment while filming a romantic wedding scene for the upcoming ‘Bad Boys 4’ in the vibrant city he once celebrated in song.
In this enchanting scene captured on a sunny day, the 55-year-old actor, reprising his role as Detective Lieutenant Michael Eugene ‘Mike’ Lowrey alongside Martin Lawrence, shared a tender kiss with co-star Melanie Liburd. Smith donned a stylish white blazer, black dress pants, and a black bow tie, while Liburd, 36, radiated in a classic white wedding dress paired with an extravagant veil.

Surrounded by their fellow cast members, the scene unfolded with Smith giving Liburd a peck on the lips, sparking joyous reactions from those around them. The heartwarming moment is set to be a highlight in the fourth instalment of the beloved comedy franchise.
Smith and Lawrence, 58, confirmed their return to the ‘Bad Boys’ universe in January 2023, teasing fans with a video set to the beats of ‘Shake Ya Tailfeather’ by Nelly, Diddy, and Murphy Lee from the ‘Bad Boys II’ soundtrack. The duo, known for their dynamic on-screen chemistry, expressed their excitement, with Smith declaring, “Bad boys for life, baby!”
Having started with ‘Bad Boys’ in 1995, followed by ‘Bad Boys II’ in 2003 and Bad Boys for Life in 2020, the iconic duo has brought their signature humour and action to audiences over the years. Filming for ‘Bad Boys 4’ has taken them to Atlanta, where they’ve suited up in their police gear for some intense scenes.
Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the new film also features stars Eric Dane, Alexander Ludwig, and Vanessa Hudgens. In an interview with Ebony in July 2022, Lawrence hinted at the possibility of more instalments, stating he’s “got one more” in him at least.
The highly anticipated ‘Bad Boys 4’ is scheduled to hit theatres on 14th June, promising another round of laughter and excitement. Welcome back, Bad Boys!
