Willow has treated fans to a taste of her enchanting new single ‘Big Feelings’ and has excitingly announced her upcoming album ‘Empathogen.’

The track starts with a captivating piano riff, swiftly followed by a rhythmic kick drum. Willow’s vocals float effortlessly over the whimsical beat as she sings, “I have such big feelings / Can’t shut ’em down without a sound / I have such big feelings / Can’t shut ’em down or let ’em out.”

In a statement shared via Stereoboard, Willow delved into the inspiration behind the song, explaining, “The piano part of this song is so dense and dissonant but also darkly beautiful. I wrote ‘b i g f e e l i n g s’ during a week when I was coming to terms with my emotional patterns that I hadn’t known were there. Musically, it has a darkness and complexity that reflects what we all experience in our minds. The song is about accepting those intense feelings that you have no idea what to do with.”

Directed by Willow herself, the accompanying visualizer for the song showcases her against a striking black backdrop adorned with a yellow and green circle. Throughout the video, Willow exudes confidence in a light blue blazer, geometric braids, and a gold grill, as she laughs, poses and gazes into the camera.
