You Will Love ‘Apex Legends’ After They Bring Back This Game Mode

Respawn Entertainment, the brains behind ‘Apex Legends,’ has just dropped exciting news for fans with the revival of the much-loved ‘Three Strikes’ mode in the popular battle royale game. The announcement comes hot on the heels of the recent and chic ‘Apex Legends ’Post Malone event, as the developer aims to keep the game’s buzz alive.

Throughout its journey, the game has treated its community to various limited-time modes (LTMs), including the annual comeback of the fan-favourite ‘Winter Express’ mode every December. Despite ‘Winter Express’ being a hit, it makes its appearance just once a year. Surprisingly, the newest LTM in ‘Apex Legends’ has created such a buzz that it’s making a swift return to the game, even though it was recently taken down following the conclusion of the Post Malone event.

Respawn has assured fans that the Three Strikes LTM will make a speedier return than anticipated. Starting 23rd November, ‘Apex Legends’ enthusiasts can dive back into the Three Strikes action. However, keep in mind that this mode remains a temporary addition, and its stay in the game this time is uncertain.

While most LTMs in the game take their time to return, Three Strikes making a quick comeback suggests it might be on the fast track to becoming a permanent fixture, provided fans continue to revel in it. This mirrors previous instances, such as the Control mode, which became a permanent addition earlier this year due to sustained fan enthusiasm.

Now, let’s talk about what makes Three Strikes stand out. This mode spices up the ‘Apex Legends’ formula by giving squads three chances to claim victory. Each team gets two respawns, and when an entire team is downed, they are brought back in skydive mode above a nearby Point of Interest (POI), with all their loot intact, except supply drop weapons. 

Invincibility upon entering the downed stage prevents players from being fully finished off until the entire team is downed. Quick, one-second revives and a generous 70 HP upon revival intensify the pace and strategy of this game mode.

Three Strikes injects a fast-paced and intense dynamic into ‘Apex Legends,’  encouraging more aggressive team play and reducing the fear of making mistakes. With teams always spawning nearby, the action never lets up.
