Dominic Harrison, known as Yungblud, has announced a series of small, personal concerts across the UK this summer. These shows, titled ‘Idols – Up Close And Personal’, will take place in July in collaboration with independent record shops and will follow the release of the first part of his upcoming double album, ‘Idols’, set for June 20.
The tour dates include performances at Kingston’s Pryzm on July 8, followed by stops at Dundee’s Live House (July 10), Liverpool’s Dome (July 11), Bristol’s Prospect Building (July 13), and Southampton’s Engine Rooms (July 15).
Yungblud shared on social media that he enjoys these close-knit gigs, where he plans to perform stripped-down versions of new tracks and discuss the stories behind them. He also spoke about creating a special experience for those attending.
This run of intimate shows will take place shortly after Yungblud’s BludFest festival in Milton Keynes on June 21 and ahead of his larger headline tours across North America and Europe later in the year.

Ahead of the album’s release, Yungblud has already unveiled two singles: ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’ and ‘Lovesick Lullaby’. He described this double album as his most ambitious project so far, building on the sound and themes from his 2022 self-titled album.
In an exclusive interview last December, Harrison explained that the album centers on ideas of self-acceptance and reclaiming one’s identity, aiming to help listeners feel seen and understood, no matter their background or beliefs.
Yungblud Connects with Fans and Stands for Accessibility
Recently, Yungblud marked the release of a single by bartending at his favourite London venue, The Hawley Arms, personally serving fans. He also previewed a new song called ‘Zombie’ at a small London show in March, which tackles difficult topics like eating disorders and body image struggles.
On the topic of festival costs, Yungblud expressed concern over rising ticket prices and made a commitment to keep BludFest 2 affordable, setting ticket prices at £65 to ensure fans can attend without financial strain.
He concluded by sharing his conviction that pursuing one’s goals with sincerity and purpose makes anything possible.
