Zayn Malik Wants to Collab With Miley Cyrus: ‘We Could Do Something Really Cool’

Zayn Malik, the former member of the boy band One Direction, recently interacted with fans on the live-streaming platform Stationhead. During the session, Zayn delved into his upcoming music and aspirations, including a dream collaboration with pop superstar Miley Cyrus.

“I’d like to do a collaboration with her,” he said of the Grammy winner. Malik continued: “I like her recent music a lot. She’s got a sick voice.”

Fan-recorded clips circulating on social media captured Malik’s enthusiastic expression of admiration for Cyrus’ music. He revealed a desire to collaborate with her, citing a creative synergy between her sound and the direction of his music. While specifics were limited, Malik hinted that Cyrus’ pop-rock sound aligns perfectly with the vision for his upcoming album, ‘Room Under the Stairs’, slated for release in May. 

A potential collaboration between Malik, known for hits like ‘Pillowtalk’, and Cyrus would mark another impressive addition to Malik’s list of collaborations. His solo career has witnessed him team up with music royalty like Taylor Swift on their single ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ from the ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ soundtrack. His albums also boast features from established artists like Kehlani, Nicki Minaj, and Sia.

‘Room Under the Stairs’ marks the next chapter and takes a new turn with his fourth studio album following the success of ‘Nobody Is Listening.’ This upcoming release also signifies a new label partnership with Mercury Records.
