Zendaya Might Just Be The Best Dressed at The Met Gala 2024

Zendaya took on the role of cohost at the prestigious Met Gala, and she absolutely nailed it in the fashion department. With Law Roach as her stylist, she showcased not just one, but two stunning outfits.

For her initial appearance on the red carpet, Zendaya rocked a mesmerising ocean blue gown designed by John Galliano for Maison Margiela. This exquisite haute couture creation featured a matching headpiece crafted by Stephen Jones for Margiela. The ensemble consisted of a sage lamé and organza bias-cut dress layered over a duchess satin corset.

With bands of hand-painted metallic crin, iridescent organza, and a hand-embroidered corsage, Zendaya truly embodied the Garden of Time dress code, reflecting the event’s theme of celebrating the natural world. She resembled the ocean itself, exuding the same refreshing vibe as a summer day dip.

For her second outfit change, Zendaya opted for a vintage piece, stepping out in a never-before-worn couture gown from Givenchy’s spring 1996 collection, designed by none other than John Galliano. This stunning dress, sourced from Lily et Cie, holds special significance as it comes from the year Zendaya was born.

Zendaya’s fashion choices at the Met Gala have consistently been show-stopping. From embracing opulent florals in a Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda ball gown in 2017 to channelling a modern Joan of Arc in a custom Versace armour creation in 2018, she’s always kept us on our toes. One thing’s for sure: Zendaya knows how to turn heads on the Met Gala red carpet, and she did it again tonight.
