Keanu Reeves is set to voice Shadow in the upcoming ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’, according to Variety. Shadow, a key character from the Sonic video game series, is known for his black fur and antihero persona, often serving as an antagonist to Sonic.
Reeves joins an impressive cast, including Ben Schwartz as Sonic and Jim Carrey reprising his role as the villainous Dr. Robotnik. Paramount Pictures, the studio behind the film, has not yet commented on this casting decision.

Shadow’s character in the games contrasts with Sonic’s blue fur, embodying a more complex and darker role within the Sonic universe.
Reeves’ involvement adds significant star power to the film, known for his roles in ‘Speed’, ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’, and the ‘Matrix’ franchise.
His recent work includes a notable appearance in the trailer for the ‘John Wick’ spinoff, ‘Ballerina’, which has already generated considerable buzz.
Additionally, Reeves is set to appear in Good Fortune, alongside a star-studded cast including Aziz Ansari, Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer, and Sandra Oh. This casting announcement highlights Reeves’ continued relevance and appeal in both action and dramatic roles.
