Who’s nominated in this year’s Hall of Fame list?

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announces its long list of nominees to be presented in the year 2020. The list includes popular names such as the notorious B.I.G, Whitney Houston, Soundgarden, T. Rex, Dave Mattews Band, Thin Lizzy, the Doobie Brothers and Pat Benatar. Artists such as the Nine Inch Nails, MC5, Judas Priest etc. have been nominated this year again despite their feature in the list of nominees last year.

The Rock & Roll website has opened up their voting polls for fans to send in their votes for nominees and the results are expected to be announced in January 2020.

Some artists such as Oasis, Daft Punk, Elliot Smith who were eligible for the first time in the Rock Hall of Fame were featured but not nominated. An artist becomes eligible 25 years after their first commercial record was released.

The artists who were nominated previously but didn’t make it to the cut were Rage Against the Machine, Kate Bush, LL Cool J, Gram Parsons, etc.
