Why Ben Affleck Was Spotted Wearing a Wedding Ring in Los Angeles After Jennifer Lopez's Divorce

The wedding ring that Ben Affleck was recently spotted sporting has nothing to do with his private life.

The actor, 52, was seen taking a break from filming ‘Animals’, his most recent picture in which he serves as both writer and director.  For the first time since 2023's Air, he is assuming all three roles in the OTT production.

 Kerry Washington plays Affleck's on-screen wife while he plays a married mayoral candidate.  The movie, which he is both producing and acting in, is said to be one of Affleck's passion projects.

Last month, Affleck and Matt Damon's firm, Artists Equity, started production on ‘Animals’.  Damon was initially supposed to play the lead in the movie, but he had to back out because of his commitment to ‘The Odyssey’, Christopher Nolan's next project.  Steven Yeun, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Adriana Paz, Ray Fisher, Mark Kassen, Christopher Woodley, and Gillian Anderson are also part of the cast.  Plot specifics and a release date have not yet been disclosed.

 In the meantime, Jennifer Lopez has begun filming ‘Office Romance’, a new movie that is presently taking place in New Jersey.  She is excited about this endeavor and is glad to be spending more time outside of Los Angeles on the East Coast.

Beyond ‘Animals’, Affleck will co-star with Damon in the murder thriller ‘RIP’, which will be released later this year.  The movie examines the extent humans will go in order to obtain money.  The narrative centers on a gang of Miami police officers whose confidence starts to erode as they find millions of dollars stashed in an abandoned stash house.
