Why is JoJo Siwa getting the Kissing Scene Cut from her Upcoming Movie 

In honor of Pride month, it is only correct that we mention JoJo Siwa and the journey she has embarked on since she revealed that she is a member of the LGBTQ community. After coming out openly to the public about her relationship with her girlfriend Kylie Prew, JoJo Siwa expressed how much happier and content she is with her life. In the June digital edition of Entertainment Weekly, she revealed in a featured interview with the magazine that she has a kissing scene with a male actor in her upcoming movie Bounce which she is really trying to get pulled out. She also revealed her reasons for this decision.

“I am madly in love and I do not want to kiss another human” she the YouTube star, “Especially because it’s a man”. Though her girlfriend Kylie Prew is completely okay with the scene, Siwa made the decision to have it removed. The 18-year-old actress believes that her fans will not view her as a character kissing another character, but as Jojo Siwa kissing a boy which she feels will be a little weird. 

Bounce is an adaptation of Megan Shull’s young adult novel which is about a teenage girl who wishes she could trade her family for a new one on Christmas Eve.

In addition to starring in Bounce she will also star in the upcoming musical, The J Team.  JoJo Siwa will also be busy writing and recording her next album and it to begin touring in 2022.
