Eurovision 2024 contestant Windows95Man, whose real name is Teemu Keisteri, has announced a new single titled Paperclip. Keisteri represented Finland at the Eurovision grand final, held at Malmö Arena, Sweden, on May 11. The competition ultimately saw Switzerland’s Nemo crowned as the winner.
Although Keisteri did not secure a victory, his performance left a lasting impression. For his song No Rules! he donned a Windows 95-themed cap and T-shirt, appearing to be unclothed from the waist down—a playful illusion achieved with the help of camerawork and dancers.
Keisteri’s upcoming single Paperclip, set to release on Friday, December 6, pays homage to Clippy, the iconic assistant of Windows operating systems, and to Windows fans in general. According to the press release, the track, inspired by 1990s rave music, embraces Keisteri’s nostalgic and humourous aesthetic. In a statement, he described Clippy as his "best friend," highlighting the inspiration behind the song.

Eurovision 2024 was not without its controversies. Israel’s participation in the contest faced backlash, including fan-led boycotts. Additionally, Dutch contestant Joost Klein, who had planned to perform his song Europapa, was disqualified hours before the finale. Authorities indicated that the decision followed allegations of verbal threats made toward a female production crew member. Klein, however, denied the accusations, asserting that there was no basis for a case against him.
Meanwhile, preparations for Eurovision 2025 have already begun, with Sam Ryder’s manager taking charge of the UK’s contestant search. Eurovision 2024 winner Nemo shared their thoughts on the ideal UK representative, emphasizing the importance of enthusiasm and enjoyment throughout the process, regardless of the outcome.
