Zoë Kravitz is Excited For The Return of ‘Big Little Lies’

Zoë Kravitz is just as in the dark about ‘Big Little Lies’ season 3 as the fans are. The actress, who plays Bonnie Carlson in the HBO drama, told PEOPLE that she’s eagerly awaiting news about the upcoming season—just like everyone else. Despite Nicole Kidman hinting at a return in 2023, Kravitz, 35, says she’s “waiting by the phone” for the script and knows nothing about the plot yet, but is “excited to do it.”

In the meantime, Kravitz is busy promoting her directorial debut, the psychological thriller ‘Blink Twice’, which features her fiancé Channing Tatum, Naomi Ackie, Simon Rex, Haley Joel Osment, and Geena Davis. Kravitz’s ‘Big Little Lies’ co-stars, Laura Dern and Reese Witherspoon, showed their support by attending the ‘Blink Twice’ premiere in Los Angeles on 8th August.

Kravitz expressed her admiration for Dern, 57, and Witherspoon, 48, noting how they genuinely show up for their friends both publicly and privately. Although she wasn’t surprised they attended, she still found it “so cool” that they came.

When asked about her hopes for Bonnie’s storyline in ‘Big Little Lies’, Kravitz suggested that Bonnie might be better off divorced from her husband, Nathan Carlson, played by James Tupper.

Reflecting on ‘Blink Twice’, which Kravitz co-wrote, she mentioned how the project brought her and Tatum closer, as they fell in love during filming in 2022. Kravitz is optimistic about future collaborations with Tatum, stating that “art is our love language” and that they enjoy creating and supporting each other in their work.
