Impersonator Turns Celebrity

Its no secret that Ariana Grande has a massive fan-base, from little kids to big ones. So it’s no surprise when early adolescent girls and boys want to act, sing, behave, speak and do everything just like her. Some are rather good at it, and others hmmm ! not so much. But hey, even that can make for good content!

A few days ago, on the TikTok app, a 14-year-old girl, by the name Paige Neimann posted a video on the app, impersonating the ‘Victorious’ star, and let’s just say, people are freaked out. The makeup, the outfits, the posing, everything is to the ‘T’! The teenager looked so much like the pop-star that even the most ardent fans believed for a quick second that the star had finally jumped on the ‘TikTok’ train.

The video brought to Grande on Twitter, where she immediately responded – “I just wonder whyyyy the cat voice / dialogue. I am sure she is the sweetest sweet sweetheart for real !! but it’s definitley bizarre seeing people blend the two worlds lmao.”

Other fans have also noted how “creepy” it is that young kids change themselves up so much online as well as in real life and pose to be celebrities which could hinder their own personal growth.

Ever since her first big Ariana impersonation, Neimann has grown her fan-base to 1.6 million followers on TikTok, with11.3 million likes on the video so far. Well, if the 14-year old can carry really commit, maybe she’ll reap all the benefits of being Ariana Grande, including fame that has no bounds!
