Justin’s on a Redemption Tour

Canadian singer Justin Bieber shared a bold statement on Instagram with the text “STAND AGAINST RACISM” and apologised for his past mistakes saying: “When I was young uneducated and found myself saying really hurtful things not knowing the power of my words. Racism is still prevalent and I want to use my voice to remind we are all human being and all of EQUAL VALUE BEFORE GOD!”

For the unfamiliar, the singer was previously called out for a video clip that made its rounds on the Internet a while ago. In the video the singer, 14 at the time, sings a remix one of his hit single “One less lonely girl” changing the word “girl” with the N-word, crooning – “If I kill you, I’d be a part of the kkk, and there’s gonna be one less lonely n****r”

The 25 year-old singer, now a husband to model Hailey Bieber, has only recently left his troubled past behind – drunk driving without a license, heavy drug use and abusive relationships. The ‘Love Yourself’ singer has always been vocal about his mental health issues, and even posted an emotional message back in September and explained how stardom at a very young age has distorted him, apologising for his past mistakes.

The singer has since been on a path of self discovery and self-reflection, with a positive attitude and finding his identity in prayers.
