Lil Wayne’s Breaking Records Non-stop!
Lil Wayne just bagged the fifth No.1 album on the Billboard 200. Billboard just announced that Lil Wayne has more top 40 hits than Elvis Presley. Four songs from his album “Funeral” debuted the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. The “Funeral” has 24 songs and guest appearances from Lil Baby, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Takeoff and more!
The set came with very little warning and easily stole the coveted top spot throne. He announced its arrival a few days before it was available. None of the songs in “Funeral” were released before the big reveal, hence owing to their absence in the charts.
With “I Do It” Wayne bagged his 82nd career top 40 Hot 100 hit crossing Elvis as the artist with the most hits in the charts history. In total he has 167 career entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart making him the third most in the charts history after Drake. He first entered the Billboard 200 in 1999 with “Tha Block IS Hot” which peaked at No.3!
“Funeral” comes after Weezy’s chart topping album from 2018,”Tha Carter V” , which also bagged the No.1 spot when it debuted. He topped the Billboard 200 with “Tha Carter IV” (2011), “I Am Not A Human Being” (2010) and “Tha Carter III” (2008). “Funeral” is also Weezy’s 12th Top 10 entry.
