Niall Horan’s Finally Caught His “Lover”

Ya’ll out there covering Taylor Swift’s smash hit, “Lover”, might want to take a backseat, because the ultimate cover of the song is out and it’s an absolute win. Niall Horan released the song on Spotify Singles, where he was joined by his label-mate Fletcher. The landscape of the song is completely changed by the two. They add in an electric guitar with heavy drumming and the vocals of the two artists make it sound larger than life.

This is what Niall had to say about Taylor and the song itself:

“Always love being asked to get involved in the Spotify Singles sessions. It’s nice to get out of the comfort zone and try something different,” he said about the cover. “When it came to deciding what song I was going to do, there was only one option for me. ‘Lover’ is one of my favorite songs I’ve heard in a long time and Taylor is a good friend. Let’s hope she likes it.”
