The mystery surrounding Adele and her comeback to music just keeps growing heavier. And now, another unconfirmed clue hinting at an imminent release comes our way. The British singer-songwriter is set to host Saturday Night Live on the 24th of October.

Social media lit up late last night, as the singer was announced as the official host of the popular show. But, in surprising news, she won’t appear as the musical guest as many would assume. As she puts on her hosting cap, R&B songstress, H.E.R will take the stage as musical guest.

Further, Adele took to social media to confirm the appearance with a heartfelt caption. The singer wrote, “My first ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things! I’ve always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right.” She continued, saying, “I am besides myself that H.E.R will be the musical guest! I love her so much I can’t wait to melt into a flaming hot mess when she performs.”

So, Is a New Album Really On Its Way?

Now, featuring on SNL often comes artists’ way when they’re promoting their new work. And, that’s why fans world over are predicting an imminent album release. Further, adding fuel to the fire, a report went viral online, stating that Adele is set to release a full-length studio album on the 30th of October.

And, with that news, October officially becomes the month of mega releases in 2020. If Adele does release an album, she will be joined by fellow global superstar, Ariana Grande, whose studio album is slated for release on the 30th of October, too. In addition, this album will serve as Adele’s fourth full length studio album.
