Billie Eilish Has A Brand New Documentary On The Way
Billie Eilish recently surprised fans with a buzzing new announcement. Nope, it isn’t news of an upcoming album (though Finneas did confess that him and Billie were working on something). Instead, it’s a brand new documentary on the young star.
Titled, “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry,” the R.J. Cutler-directed documentary will arrive in February, 2021. Cutler’s previous work involves the award winning, ‘The War Room’, the non-fiction television series ‘American High’, the feature film ‘If I Stay’ and more.
Considering Billie’s rise to fame in such a brief span of time, there’s no doubt that this is certainly a story worth telling. After all, just this year she swept a whopping five Grammys and even scored the main theme for ‘No Time To Die’ – all at the mere age of 18, thus making her the youngest star to come by these feats.
Billie Eilish, The Documentary And A Possible New Album?
The young star took to social media to break the news by sharing the brief trailer of her documentary. It features an animated neon green figure stalking towards the camera as Billie’s distorted vocals create the foundation of this trailer. The 30 second clip simply ends with the release date of the project.
Now, on the music front, the only other track Billie dropped this year was ‘My Future’. It landed a couple months after her James Bond score, along with its very own Hayao Miyazaki-inspired music video. Her older brother and close collaborator, Finneas, did confirm that they were working on new music. Though, both stars only plan to drop the project, once the global pandemic has settled. And so that fans can “thoroughly enjoy” their work.
In other news, Billie has also scored a whopping 12 nominations for the Billboard Music Awards, set to take place mid-October. So, stay tuned for more updates on that.
