BLACKPINK Go Hard in Teaser for “How You Like That” 

As we inch closer to the arrival of a new era in BLACKPINK music, we’re getting another taste of what’s to come. 

Earlier today, the group released a teaser, giving us a first look at the upcoming music video for their fast approaching single, “How You Like That”. While not much of how they’re going to look has been revealed, the sets and production have already sent fans into a spiral. 

Looking like they’re ready for war, the girls are surrounded by massive real-life sets that scream grandiosity. Think Khaleesi’s world in Game of Thrones, make it BLACKPINK and you’ve got a rough description of what’s to come. 

And while (in signature BLACKPINK fashion) the visuals are strong, the only music revelation is that of the hook: “ha-how you like that?”.

Their fandom, Blinks have been trending the group on Twitter ever since the release of the teaser. BLACKPINK continues to occupy worldwide trends with 300,000 tweets and counting. Reactions over the first look have been overwhelmingly positive. Who needs promotion when you’ve got a fandom hyping you up like this one does? 

BLACKPINK are all set to release “How You Like That”, their pre-release single, on the 26th of June 2020. The follow up to the album, which will be their first ever studio album since the time of debut, is expected to release sometime in July. 

BLACKPINK have had a busy few weeks, making big moves in K-Pop. They recently made history as their collaboration with Lady Gaga, “Sour Candy“, broke into the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, making it the highest charting song by a South Korean girl group. They also made a mark on the On Demand Sales Chart, reflecting their audience popularity.
