Christina Aguilera Drops an Anthem On Jimmy Kimmel

Christina Aguilera recently took the stage on the Jimmy Kimmel Show to perform ‘Loyal Brave True’ live for the very first time!

Now, just to give you some context, she climbed aboard the Mulan Live Action Film to create the main theme song, which, as you can see, has gotten the most fitting title. Accompanied by percussionists, Aguilera took her spot under the spotlight to deliver a stunning performance. From her floral robe, to her candy-coloured hair and the ethereal red glow falling over her – she was quite literally channeling her inner-Mulan.

Perhaps the only things missing were a couple of swords and some elaborate martial arts.

The performance follows Aguilera’s red carpet appearance for the film’s world premiere in Hollywood, earlier this week. Speaking about the track, Christina said, “That meaning holds the test of time: staying true to yourself, being who you are, and teaching how to be fearless. My new song, ‘Loyal Brave True,’ represents the fine balance between vulnerability and strength.”

There’s nothing more to be said. The message is right there and Christina said it all. This isn’t just a song. It’s a whole anthem.
