DaBaby continues his massive success streak in light of the recent BET Hip Hop Awards nominations. The 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards are set to take place on the 28th of October. And, ahead of the big night, the nominations for this year were announced earlier today.

And so, DaBaby reigns supreme leading the nominee pack with 12 nods in total. In addition, he has made history as the only artist ever to have two albums land ‘Album of the Year’ nominations at the BET Awards. Both his works – “KIRK” and “Blame It On Baby” are contenders in the category at this year’s awards. Further, DaBaby also lands nominations in the ‘Artist of the year’, ‘Lyricist of the Year’, and ‘Hip Hop Artist of the Year’ categories.

Now, DaBaby surpasses his ‘Rockstar’ collaborator by just a nod, as Roddy Ricch comes in hot with 11 nominations to his name. And, trailing behind him with 8 nominations each are hip hop heavyweights, Drake and Megan Thee Stallion.

And, the BET news joins DaBaby’s long roster of successes this year. The rapper has landed some explosive collaborations, swept music charts world over and shows no signs of stopping. In addition, the rapper has a feature on Dua Lipa’s remix of ‘Levitating’ on its way. And, if that wasn’t enough, he’s still making strong appearances on the Hot 100 charts. So, suffice it to say, 2020 is a good year for the rapper, at the very least.

The BET Hip Hop Awards, 2020, will air on the 28th of October, 2020.
