Demi Lovato is Gearing up to Drop A New Docuseries
There’s a brand new docuseries in the pipeline and this one’s focusing on none other than Demi Lovato. YouTube recently announced a four-part docuseries in partnership with Demi.
The Michael D. Ratner-directed series is a follow up to her 2017 YouTube Originals documentary, ‘Simply Complicated’.
The 2017 documentary takes a serious look at Lovato’s rise to fame and the pressures that arrived with it. It chronicles her breakthrough as a teen star on Disney. ‘Simply Complicated,’ then tackles weightier issues like Demi’s first stint in rehab in 2010 due to an eating disorder and her subsequent struggles with bipolar disorder and addiction.
While the upcoming series does not have a title yet, it promises to give us a peek into the star’s ups and downs through her personal and musical journey over the past three years.
Fans are speculating that this series will most probably cover the star’s drug overdose and hospitalization in 2018. We’ll also surely get to witness her fantastic return to the music scene in 2020.
From her stunning performance of ‘Anyone’ at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards to her moving rendition of ‘Star Spangled Banner’ at the Super Bowl and finally to her very first single of the year, ‘I Love Me’ – Demi Lovato has returned stronger than ever.
Well, until we hear more news of her docuseries, here’s hoping that she’ll continue to shower us with more lovely music along the way.
