Ed Sheeran Is A Father To A Baby Girl

Ed Sheeran, the English singer and his wife, Cherry Seaborn are parents to a baby girl, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. The ‘Shape Of You’ singer took to his Instagram to break his social media silence in order to announce the same.

Ed Sheeran captioned the post, “Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you… Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x”.

Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn were a thing since 2015 and only got married in 2019. However, throughout their relationship, they were quite private. It’s reported that Ed’s song ‘Thinking Out Loud‘ is for his wife. Though, in August of this year, there were rumours of them expecting.

Ed Sheeran Took A Social Media Break

The singer took a break from social media on December 24, 2019, and fans are speculating that it was because he wanted to enjoy the privacy of pregnancy. He took to his Instagram to share, “Hello all. Gonna go on another break again. The ‘Divide’ era and tour changed my life in so many ways, but now it’s all over it’s time to go out and see some more of the world. I’ve been a bit nonstop since 2017 so I’m just gonna take a breather to travel, write and read. I’ll be off all social media until it’s time to come back.”

Well, we like that he’s back on social media because we will get to see his little baby more now! Hoping that happens and if it does, we will keep you posted.
