Eminem Responds To Revolt TV, But Where Is The Apology?
This week has been one big cat fight. Back and forth between Ja Rule and 50 Cent continued, Tekashi 6ix9ine took up his vendetta against the music industry in general and dragged Meek Mill and Future, and finally, Revolt TV found some unreleased verses from Eminem that dissed them in a major way. And their response was limited, but apt:
The Eminem verse that was leaked was most probably an unreleased part of Conway’s ‘Bang’ and went like this: “Shout to Puffy Combs, but f**k Revolt/ Y’all are like a f**ked up remote/ Now I get it why our buttons broke/ Cause you pressing him but do nothing though, especially when it comes to punches thrown.”
And after Revolt TV responded, Eminem has finally broken his silence and released a statement. Granted, it’s not much of an apology. And while it is to be seen how Revolt TV will react, the debate is heated and polarised, with stans on both side, charged.
“I agree with Revolt… this is an unnecessary distraction,” Eminem wrote in a tweet. “I never meant for the verse to be heard, I was heated in the moment and thought better of it and decided to pull it back. Stuff that I never intended to release continues to leak from the huge WeTransfer hack. I don’t have any issues with Revolt. I’d actually welcome the opportunity to work with them on some positive things and turn this in a different direction.”
