Finneas O’Connell is Heading an Instagram Manhunt
It looks like Billie Eilish’s big brother, Finneas O’Connell has run into some trouble. It appears that a couple of packages were stolen from his doorstep along with his doorbell camera which was, as he puts it, “ripped out of its socket”. But he’s found the perfect way to deal with this problem: social media.
Finneas is putting “all 2.4 million of [his followers] to good use,” by arranging an Instagram manhunt of sorts. So, here’s what he did. He put up a picture of his robber and captioned his Instagram post with this,
“This handsome fella stole a bunch of packages off my porch in LA today and then RIPPED my doorbell camera out of it’s socket and left with it. Lemme know if you know him. I won’t press charges if he gives them all back and let’s me give him a neck tat that says “thief”
Wow. That is possibly the most innovative and creative way to deal with a robbery. We did not see the bit about the neck tattoo coming. Just last year, Finneas O’Connell moved into a home with his girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski, who also shared the salvaged doorbell camera footage to her Instagram story.
Some say that social media can be more terrifying than jail time and it looks like Finneas is proving that to be true. Though he’s taken quite a drastic measure against this thief, we’re still curious to see how it all unfolds.
In other news, while we’re on the topic of Finneas, we have to also bring up Billie Eilish. She just finished an Instagram live session with Rainn Wilson who plays Dwight Schrute on The Office. Oh and it’s worth mentioning that Billie binge-watched the sitcom for the 15th time in quarantine. Ahh the siblings and their eccentricities. They never fail to leave us entertained, in one way or the other.
