H.E.R Receives An Oscar Nod After Winning A Grammy
H.E.R is making history in an unexpected way! The singer received a big nod at the Oscar nominations for best original song for her track, ‘Fight For You’. The Oscar nominations were announced early hours of Monday, 15th March by Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
The news comes forward right after being awarded a Grammy for ‘I Can’t Breathe. H.E.R surely has a lot to celebrate considering that she’s got appreciated by the Oscar Awards and the Grammy Awards for two different songs. ‘Fight For You’ is from Judas and the Black Messiah and ‘I Can’t Breathe’ has become an anthem for the Black Lives Matter.
Apart from this, it also is the first time ever that a singer has gotten an Oscar nomination and won a Grammy in the same season. Really a big celebration on the way for H.E.R.

H.E.R won the Song of the Year at the 2021 Grammys leading to a total of two golden awards. The singer was on the nomination list with some of the big names from the industry. Beyonce for ‘Black Parade’, Taylor Swift for ‘Cardigan’, Post Malone for ‘Circles’, Dua Lipa for ‘Don’t Start Now’, Billie Eilish for ‘Everything I Wanted’ and JP Saxe ft. Julia Michaels for ‘If The World Was Ending’. Big competition, right?
