JP Saxe & Julia Michaels Bring Musicians Together for a Stunning Benefit Video
During this pandemic, of the many things people are talking about is the strange notion that some artists – be it authors or directors, have made certain predictions that now appear to have come true. So, under that large umbrella, the 2019 track, ‘If the World Was Ending’, by JP Saxe and Julia Michaels has found a space for itself.
And now, the duo have used this opportunity to team up with some star studded musicians and give back to a good cause.
So, they released a brand new video for this track to raise money for Doctors Without Borders. This organization is currently providing care, health education and mental health support, across the world to those suffering with coronavirus.
And, as it turns out, Saxe and Michaels brought along some friends for this video, including Kesha, Niall Horan, H.E.R, Sam Smith, Anne-Marie and a number of other stars. A lot of familiar faces there, all encouraging viewers and fans to donate to this cause.
The pair also had a heartfelt message for all the frontline fighters, “At a time when it can sometimes feel like ‘the world is ending,’ we thank all of the healthcare workers, first responders, and essential workers who are helping so many people in need. Please stay home, stay safe (and don’t actually go over!).”
Perhaps what makes this initiative all the more touching is the way the video concludes: with a message from a participating doctor to keep pushing forward, despite the odds.
