Justin Bieber Teases Brand New Single: ‘Holy’
After a week-long trail of crumbs on social media, Justin Bieber has finally come out with it. The Canadian singer-songwriter is all set to kick off a new era in music with a new single. And, the track, slated for release this coming Friday, will be called ‘Holy’ and is set to feature rapper, Chance the Rapper.
On the 11th of September, Bieber began teasing the possibility of new music. A barrage of new photographs and captions reached fans, much to their amusement. And, come today, the news of new music has been confirmed. The star took to Instagram to announce the release with a picture that sees him dressed in a white t-shirt, and a face covered with oil.
Further, the pictures indicated a collaboration with famous music video director and frequent collaborator, Colin Tilley (‘WAP’, ‘Wild Thoughts’ and ‘Confident’).
In addition, fans speculate that the new era will lean more towards Bieber’s new found exploration of faith and religion. Fellow gospel enthusiast, Chance The Rapper’s feature on the track, adds fuel to that speculative fire. No audio teasers have reached fans, as yet.
‘Holy’ and Bieber’s subsequent comeback will serve as his first solo release following the mega roll out of his February, 2020 release – “Changes”. The album, which marked Justin’s fifth studio album, shattered pop radio records. In addition, it featured some big names in pop music – the likes of Kehlani, Post Malone and Quavo lent their voices to the project.
‘Holy’, accompanied by an official music video, will release on the 18th of September, and is available for pre-save now.
