Lana Del Rey Releases First Single Off Upcoming Album

Lana Del Rey has finally given fans the first taste of her upcoming album “Chemtrails Over the Country Club”. The singer-songwriter released the first single in the lead up to the album. And, this one’s a tender love song called ‘Let Me Love You Like a Woman’. The singer sings of romantic pleas and vulnerable love in this harmonic piano ballad. 

This release comes on the heels of her latest venture – the publication of a book called, “Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass”. In addition, “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” marks the seventh studio album by Del Rey. Further, it serves as a follow-up to her Grammy nominated album, the critically acclaimed “Norman F**king Rockwell”. The LP was up for Album of the Year at the Grammys last year, but didn’t win.

In addition, the project by Del Rey, which was expected to arrive on the 5th of September, will arrive later this year due to a postponement in the production process. 

In the new track, Lana shows off her melancholic but melodic vocals, offering a sentimental ballad. She sings, “Let me love you like a woman/Let me hold you like a baby.” Further, the chorus is marked by the lines, “Let me shine like a diamond/Let me be who I’m meant to be/Talk to me in poems and songs/Don’t make me be bittersweet.”
