Miley Cyrus Prepares to Make Her Landing with A New Album

The music world has been witness to a slew of new releases, leaving fans across the world jumping out of their seats. And now, it looks like it’s time for Miley Cyrus to take the stage. While the young star has been quite active on social media over the past few months, she’s been absent from the music front. One part of this is due to her recovery from a vocal chord surgery. But perhaps, she was also using this time to piece together her long-awaited album, “She Is Miley Cyrus”. 

The star took to social media to tease the release with a sweet throwback. She shared a clip from the music video of her 2008 single ‘Start All Over,’ which found its spot on her debut solo album “Breakout“. With a Pop-Punk feel reminiscent of songs from the early 2000’s, this brief clip truly brought on a wave of nostalgia. But here’s the real kicker: Miley’s accompanying caption read, “Meet Miley Cyrus….. again. #SheIsComing #ButForRealThisTime.”

But this was simply the tip of the iceberg. Not long after, Miley put up a different post which featured her, straight from the studio. Wearing her characteristic white tank top and sparkly silver necklaces, we see her pull down her shades and groove to a track off, “She Is Miley Cyrus“.  This time, the caption just read, “TEASE”.

With her next teaser, Miley gave us a good taste of the song, which was revealed to be titled ‘Midnight Sky’. Ripe with retro beats and the star’s dreamy vocals, we hear her croon:  

“It’s been a long night and the mirror is tellin’ me to go home/ But it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this good on my own/ Nine years went by with my hands tied up in your ropes/ Forever and ever, no more.”

Who is Miley Cyrus Teaming Up With?

And finally, Miley unveiled a teaser that left fans breathless. It featured her and Dua Lipa in the studio. The caption read, “Dua has heard what you haven’t…” All evidence seems to be pointing to a collaboration between both stars. And considering that they’ve talked about working with each other in the past, it looks like they finally got around to doing it. 

Now, “She Is Miley Cyrus“, follows the star’s 2019 EP, “She Is Coming”, which featured the chart-topping hit, ‘Mother’s Daughter‘. While Miley hasn’t confirmed an official release date yet, she can take her time considering that we’re still reeling from her slew of teasers.
