Rumour Has It Adele Has an October Release Planned

Another Monday, and another wave of pop culture shockwaves take over Twitter. Earlier today, Adele began trending amidst some big news. And, suffice it to say, music lovers world over can’t contain their excitement. According to a local Chicago-based radio station, the singer-songwriter, has a late October release up her sleeve. And, this is a big one – a full length studio album. 

The “25” Era

Adele, who last took the music world by storm back in 2015 with her studio album, “25”, has been absent from the music landscape for years now. And, unlike most singers on a break, she has given fans no musical activity – no collaborations, no one off singles, nothing. Now, “25” broke world records, broke the internet and reigned supreme, exceeding expectations.

And, even until a few months ago, the album’s lead single, ‘Hello’, was the only track to have hit #1 on iTunes in over 100 countries. The impressive record was only recently surpassed by BTS’ ‘Black Swan’. 

In addition, Adele scored two Grammy Awards, bagging both ‘Album of the Year’, and ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ at the 2017 award show. Further, it won big at the Billboard Music Awards, and raked in big numbers on charts world over. But, unfortunately, for fans, it’s been silent since that magical wave of music hit the soundscapes. 

True or False?

Now, with news of a possible October comeback, fans and listeners are excited. But, it’s worth noting that neither Adele nor her management have confirmed the news or provided any updates since. But, the reason this “says source” information seems to hold any weight at all is because, in the past, the singer’s work has been teased ahead of time by radio stations. So, it’s all ‘wait and  watch’ from here.
