Taylor Swift Fan Parodies A ‘Folklovermore’ Tour

Taylor Swift has had a very eventful and productive 2020! The ‘Willow’ hit singer delivered hit albums like, “Lover”, “Evermore” and “Folklore” and we are miffed at the fact that none of them has gotten the proper concert/tour treatment. Thanks to the pandemic, fans’ imagination of what the tour could have been having gone wild.

One of the ‘Swifties’ upped the ante with a parody of what we would expect to see in a ‘Folklovermore’ tour by Swift. Impersonating the singer, the fan-made a series of TikToks. @anthonylario posted, “If you know, you know,” with a wink emoji referring to one of his earlier TikTok of Swift on tour.

He began his Swift-inspired TikTok saying, “Over the past few years, I wrote three very different albums,”. The sketch has amassed the highest number of views, spoofing the singer’s style of introduction on stage.

Oh, The Parody!

“And even though we haven’t yet had the chance to hang out and sing them together, I can hear you guys screaming every single lyric. And I write a lot of lyrics…I’m also just so humbled that after this whole quarantine, you chose to spend one of your first nights in public hanging out with me, so thank you. Even though these three albums are different, I find that there are three consistent facets: stories of lovers, folklore tales, and nights like this that can hopefully last … forevermore,” Anthony quipped following this with the opening chords of ‘Willow’, the title track from “Evermore”.

Detailing the snippets with recordings of applause and cheers, Lario said, “I think for me, this quarantine, like a lot of you, was filled with media and music and films and love stories … set in June, July … And love triangles in August,” in another TikTok.

Lario dived into a mashup of ‘August’ and ‘Cruel Summer’ with a surprise gem from 1989, ‘Out of the Woods’. Taylor Swift sure must love this rendition according to us! Don’t you think?

Olivia Rodrigo, Swift’s Next Guest?

Lario voiced our secret desire. He filmed a possibility of Swift inviting a special guest to join her on stage guessing it could be the ‘Drivers License’ hit singer, Olivia Rodrigo. The track is on top of everybody’s playlist right now and even got a co-sign from Swift.

“I think for me, one of the most important parts of these unprecedented times was listening [to] and supporting emerging artists, whether it be on social media or … in your car. So, one of my favourite songs to sing is this next song, and I just sang to it today while driving. Through the suburbs,” he said, playing the first verse of “Drivers License” and bringing out “Olivia.”, Lario said, impersonating Swift.

Phew! That was one entertaining series, thanks to the die-hard fans of Taylor Swift, the ‘Swifties’. Watch Lario’s most-watched parodies that are currently making waves on the internet.
