The Jonas Brothers Push Back the Release of their Memoir
The Jonas Brothers have made it to the headlines once again. This time, they’ve arrived with an announcement: ‘Blood: A Memoir By The Jonas Brothers’ was initially scheduled for release in October, but it looks like the book’s release date has been pushed.
The band made their monumental return to the music scene with their hit track, ‘Sucker‘, in 2019. Their comeback also notched the boys a No. 1 Hot 100 song, and a No. 1 Billboard 200 album. The JoBros later hit the road for their banging, ‘Happiness Begins’ tour, which arrived hand in hand with two documentaries. The Jonas Brothers made their announcement concerning their book, back in May 2019. They penned down the memoir with the help of the prolific writer, Neil Strauss. You might have heard of one of his most famous pieces, ‘The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band’, released in 2001.
The Jonas Brothers broke the news on Twitter, explaining the situation, “It’s important to us that our memoir ‘BLOOD’ is perfect and that we share it when the time is right. Because of that, we’re taking some extra time to write our story. We’ll update everyone shortly once we have more info.”
So, what stories will ‘Blood’ tell? According to the book’s official website, it will track the band’s ups and downs and of course, their return to the spotlight. The memoir, “details the incredible true story of the Jonas Brothers, from the band’s creation, phenomenal rise to superstardom, break up at the height of their fame, and now reunification. Written with Neil Strauss, coauthor of The Dirt, and told in their own words, this is a totally unfiltered memoir about three brothers who learn that blood is thicker than fame.”
There is no information regarding a new release date, as of yet, so for now, it looks like we’ll just have to be patient.
