‘Trollz’ Trolled : Did Not Break Any Record

Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine might have celebrated way too early or unnecessarily. YouTube confirmed that ‘Trollz’ did not break the record for either most watched hip hop video in 24 Hours nor most viewed music video in 24 hours.

6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj celebrated the feat they thought the song achieved. ‘Trollz’ apparently only received 32.8 million views on the first day and not 46 million views.

6ix9ine shared his achievement on Instagram thinking the track had reached 46 million views which breaks the record. He wrote, “@nickiminaj DIDNT THEY CANCEL US ⁉️⁉️IT HASNT EVEN BEEN 24 HOURS YET,” The post, however, has since been deleted since the YouTube announcement.

According to YouTube’s 24-hour record debut policy, “Videos eligible for YouTube’s 24-hour record debuts are those with the highest views from organic sources within the first 24 hours of the video’s public release.”

Well, ‘Trollz‘ song seems to be a reason to troll Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine since the time they announced the collaboration. Be it their association or breaking quarantine rules, they just are under attack.

Somehow, both the artists have managed to defend themselves till now but how will they justify this claim? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
