Ty Dolla $ign Recruits Post Malone for New Single, ‘Spicy’

Ty Dolla $ign seems to be kicking off  anew moment in his discography. The rapper released a brand new single called ‘Spicy’. And, for this one, he teamed up with his ‘Psycho’ collaborator, Post Malone. The track, led by Ty, is a radio-friendly, trap track.

In addition, Ty Dolla $ign took to social media to express his excitement at the collaboration. Sharing a snippet of the track, the rapper jotted down his thoughts with a heartfelt caption. He wrote, “You know that magic that only that person could bring to a song. ‘Spicy’ needed Post’s frequency.” Further, he added, “Plus, we were overdue for another hit after ‘Psycho’. I’m just grateful that he lent his frequency to this song because we DEFINITELY got another one.”

‘Psycho’, the duo’s first collaboration was a commercial success that landed both artists at the forefront of much recognition. 

Ty’s Upcoming Album Features…

Further, ‘Spicy’. marks the first single off Ty Dolla Sign’s upcoming album, “Featuring Ty Dolla $ign”. The project is slated for release on the 23rd of October. Sharing news of the upcoming album, the rapper wrote, “I decided to name my third studio album ” Featuring Ty Dolla $ign” because there is truly something for everybody on this album. It features some of my most talented friends, on some of the best music I’ve made in my career.” 

‘Spicy’ falls in line with much of the star’s previous works. Post Malone joins Ty on the second verse of the track. Over a steady trap beat, the duo sings, “She my spicy lil’ mama, she let me bust her piñata// I buy her all the designer, but she’s still leavin’ tomorrow.” The track is out now on all streaming platforms. And, “Featuring Ty Dolla $ign” will be available on the 23rd of October.
