Megan Thee Stallion Opens Up About Traumatic Incident

Over the weekend, Megan Thee Stallion underwent a rather harrowing experience. The details of which, she just revealed a couple hours ago. The young rapper suffered from multiple gunshot wounds on Sunday and is currently recovering.

Stallion recently took to Instagram to reassure her fans and give them a detailed account as to what took place.

“On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me,” she clarified, “I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night.”

According to reports, the rapper Tory Lanez was arrested on a gun charge after police officers discovered the weapon in his vehicle. Megan Thee Stallion and another woman, were also confirmed to have been in the car at the time.

Initially, the police responded to a complaint of a disturbance outside of a Hollywood Hills home. Here, witnesses said people were arguing in an SUV before shots were fired in the air and the vehicle left the scene.  

While Megan Thee Stallion did not clarify who shot her or why the incident happened. She assured fans that she would focus on her recovery so that she could return to making music.
