Taemin Unveils First Teaser for ‘Never Gonna Dance Again’

In early June, Taemin of the cult Kpop group ‘SHINee’ confirmed that he was gearing up for a comeback. And now, after leaving fans on their toes for almost two months, Taemin has returned with a slice of what’s sure to be an exquisite dish. 

On July 27th at midnight KST, Taemin revealed the first teaser of his third album. Titled, ‘Never Gonna Dance Again,’ the cryptic teaser features the young artist standing outside what appears to be a dilapidated building. He is but a silhouette, drowned under shadows. 

Interestingly, his comeback will be divided into three parts: the Prologue, Act 1, and Act 2. His first prologue single titled, ‘2 Kids’ is set to make its landing on August 4th. In a hilarious nod towards this upcoming tune, Taemin also took to social media to leave a trail of some rather random pictures of kids. And no, he provided zero hints as to what he was getting at. Well, at least until he officially released the cover art.

Now, we have but a sliver of information regarding the concept behind this album. According to the star’s agency, SM Entertainment, “the 3rd album contains the worries and challenges of finding a new self as an artist while consolidating the identity that Taemin has shown so far.” 

Taemin was initially preparing for a July comeback, but this was delayed due to a wrist injury. So, while there’s currently no further information as to when the official album is set to drop. For now, we can revel in all these brilliant teasers.
