RJ Rohit caught up with Indie artist, Aneesha about her brand-new track, ‘Feeling High’ and her musical journey!

Aneesha and Konark are Independent music producers who got together during the lockdown with the goal of blowing up the music scene with a brand-new song. Aneesha’s already-expanding discography of English pop and electronic music, as well as her knack for writing memorable melodies and hooks, flawlessly mesh with DJ turned producer Konark’s groove-heavy beats. 

The first song in this collaboration, ‘Kahani,’ featured electronic duo Tech Panda and Kenzani. That was followed by the disco-inspired ‘Get Together,’ which the duo released in late 2022. ‘Feeling High’ is the third segment in this series.

Aneesha originally wrote this latest release as a four-on-the-floor dance pop piece. Konark contributed his signature rhythms and baselines while Aneesha worked on the melodic components, automations and vocal arrangements. The music contains a perfect amount of repetition, a major vocal hook that is “highly sync-able,” and cleverly placed melodic lines that come and go, creating a wholeheartedly groovy song that would work in clubs as well as on your typical morning commute to work!
