RJ Rohit caught up with Indie artist Garnet about her new collaborative song with Daniel Baron, ‘Lights Go Down’ and her musical journey!
The track is a captivating contemporary pop progression, that focuses on love, passion and seduction. The song was written by Garnet and produced by Daniel Baron through his own production company, Hit Kitchen Studios. ‘Lights Go Down’ incorporates musical undertones of artists like Sia, Adele and Ellie Goulding, wherein Garnet tries to bring a fresh perspective to the genre.
Garnet started her musical career on Instagram, which helped her gain the attention of international fans, record studios and producers. Ever since, she has released her debut single ‘Follow the Light’ which became an instant hit. She has written and released quite a few singles, and is currently working on an album. Her third single, ‘Cage’ was shortlisted for a nomination in 2018 for Best Single in the Social Action category at the 16th Annual Independent Music Awards (IMAs).
