Xperience Session With Saahil Bhargava

A classically trained singer, pianist and bassist, Bhargava grew up with
music. Saahil enjoys telling stories and exploring interesting concepts and
emotions. All of his songs tend to be stories about characters going through
emotional experiences or intense moments. Saahil’s forte is to tell his stories
through music with animation being his preferred mode of storytelling. Having
been influenced by broadway and musical theater in his foundational years;
Cinematic Rock would be an apt way to describe his music.

Apart from all his musical pursuits, Saahil Bhargava also doubles up as the Head of Teen and Adult Animation at Rainshine Animation, a division of Rainshine Global Inc. Currently he is working with Jeffrey Reddick- screenwriter & director of Final destination franchise for an upcoming Rainshine Animation project.

He earned his first set of nominations at
the LA Shorts International Film Festival in two categories- for ‘Best
Animation’ and ‘Best Music Video’, one of the world’s most prestigious and
largest international short film festivals, for his music video Kohima.
Saahil finds himself in the stellar company of Paul McCartney and Yo-Yo Ma
whose ‘When Winter Comes’ and ‘See Me’ respectively were part of the
nominations.

Post the
appreciation and success of Kohima, Saahil has recently launched his new
song/video called Ronin. It’s the second track from Saahil’s debut EP,
which is named after the song.

Ronin is a song about a samurai going
through an emotional crisis when he is forced to make a decision on whether to
execute a peasant woman who was caught stealing food for her young son. He is faced
with a dilemma of doing what he believes is “good” vs. doing what he has been
taught is “right” from his life as a samurai and the orders of his lord.
