DJ Trish

RJ Rohit caught up with DJ Trish about her upcoming track ‘My Year’ and her musical journey. 

She is also a producer and remixer, who was born in Bangalore, but is currently living in London. She first entered the music scene in 2012, and ever since she has manifested herself into a multifaceted DJ who puts her spin on EDM with elements from Deep House, Tech House and Underground House Music. In her own words, she was first inspired by the 90s music, and after realizing there was a lack of female DJs, she enrolled herself in a course for the same.

DJ Trish’s tracks are ranked within the top 10 of UK charts. She calls ‘My Year’ her dream track, which is inspired by the ups and downs of the pandemic and the last few years in general. The track is uplifting and inspiring to listen to. DJ Trish is currently working on 2 of her songs, which she aims at releasing by 2023. She got recognition for her prominent sonic blueprint of rave-focused House and Techno productions, and she proves to be one of UK’s most promising talents with a commendable catalog of impressive label signings.

After having redefined the music industry with her skills as a DJ, she first became a Producer for Roland Clark’s Delete Records in 2020. Trish is deeply loved and appreciated by her fans that she has garnered over the years. She is a regular on London’s globally adored club scene, where she frequents the likes of Ministry of Sound, Egg, Lightbox, DJ Mag’s Work Bar and countless Thames boat parties. Trish is also an integral part of the ‘We Are Listening’ campaign, which is a platform, event series and mentoring programme from the Toolroom Academy to encourage and develop new female/non-binary talent in electronic music.
