RJ Rohit caught up with Indie artist, Sherise D’souza who is an internationally acclaimed- award winning dynamic vocalist and singer-songwriter from India.

She sings tracks from a variety of genres, including Funk, Pop, Country, Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Reggae, Pop, Western Classical, Jazz, Hindustani, as well as her own compositions. Sherise is known for her powerful voice and ability to make each song uniquely her own, regardless of the genre. She has earned nominations for many international awards. Now that she has won a BRONZE for International Entertainer of the Year at the ISSA Awards 2022, she has added another feather in her cap.

She started her music journey at the age of eight and has since appeared at prestigious events like the Goa Carnival, Hard Rock Cafe shows with her band, ‘Sherise D’souza Collective’ as well as performances in Germany, France, Ireland, and London as a member of numerous choirs and collectives. She won Female Vocalist of the Year at Radio Wigwam International Radio Music Awards, 2021. Being a versatile singer, she sings in various languages lijke English, Hindi, Konkani, Spanish, French, Marathi, etc.
