Indus Creed 

RJ Rohit caught up with Zubin, a member of the iconic Indie Rock band, Indus Creed about their upcoming performance at Sunday Soul Sante, among other things.  

Indus Creed is a Mumbai based Indie rock band founded in 1984 as ‘Rock Machine’ but was later renamed in 1993. The band has been through its ups and downs over the years. They disbanded in 1997 to regroup in 2010 with a crazy new lineup. Rolling Stone India featured the band’s songs ‘Top of the Rock’ and ‘Pretty Child’ in their 2014 list of ‘25 Greatest Indian Rock Songs of the last 25 years.’

Indus Creed released their first album in 17 years, ‘Evolve’ in 2012 through Universal Music. The album featured eight songs and was mixed by Tim Palmer, who is a Grammy-nominated mixing engineer and was mastered by Andy VanDette. The band was then featured on the cover of many magazines including Rolling Stone India’s February 2012 issue. Indus Creed was nominated in multiple categories of Jack Daniel’s JD Rock Awards in 2013 and won for Best Band, Best Keyboardist and Best Drummer!
