Jennifer Garner Confesses Emotional Turmoil Before Daughter’s Graduation

Jennifer Garner and her mother, Pat Garner, recently opened up about the emotional journey of their children leaving for college during an appearance on ‘Today with Hoda & Jenna’.

The actress, whose daughter Violet Affleck recently graduated from high school, admitted to struggling with her daughter’s milestone. Garner shared, “I was a wreck the whole month leading up to it. Every awards ceremony, every final, everything, I just cried and cried at everything.”

The ’13 Going on 30′ star praised Violet, her daughter with ex-husband Ben Affleck, and posted several photos showing her emotional moments leading up to the graduation. Garner also expressed concerns about Violet leaving the nest, revealing how she found herself in tears even on planes when thinking about it. However, on the day of the graduation, she felt immense pride and happiness.

Violet has hinted at her interest in attending Yale University, though her college plans for the fall have not been officially disclosed. Affleck and Garner reunited at their son Samuel’s middle school graduation, where Affleck’s current partner, Jennifer Lopez, also attended separately with her twins. 

Rumours surrounding Affleck and Lopez’s relationship have been swirling since Affleck moved out of their shared home in Brentwood, California.
