2. Michael Clifford of the Australian band, 5 Seconds of Summer, was recently accused of sexual harassment. He also came under fire after some of his older tweets were dug up, displaying sexist and homophobic remarks.
3. In order to celebrate Pride month, Halsey released the original version of her track, ‘Wipe Your Tears’. Interestingly enough, a majority of fans seemed to prefer this version to the one that actually made it to the star’s latest album, ‘Manic’.
4. The BET nominations have arrived and it looks like Drake is in the lead with a total of 6 nods for some of the biggest categories. Following closely behind is none other than Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Ricch.
5. BLACKPINK just revealed the title and teaser images for their upcoming single, leaving fans buzzing with excitement. The tune’s called, ‘How You Like That‘ and is set to drop on June 26th.
6. Katy Perry recently took to social media to put up a picture, showing off her baby bump. But what lay below the photograph, appeared to be song lyrics for an upcoming single.
7. Khalid and Victoria Monet just teamed up for a gorgeous new track titled, ‘Experience’. This marks the duo’s first collaboration together.
8. The Black Eyed Peas just dropped their brand new album titled, ‘Translation’. This one features quite the star-studded lineup, from Shakira to Tyga to Becky G and many more.
9. John Legend just dropped his 16-track album, ‘Bigger Love’. Comprising of mainly ballads, the album spans a spectrum of themes, from love, sex, to hope and to simply celebrating black culture.
Alicia Keys just put out a heartbreaking tune titled, ‘Perfect Way to Die’. In light of recent events, this song speaks of the unimaginable grief parents suffer through upon hearing that their children have died at the hands of the police.
